Foyle Days

Monday, June 7th, 2010

We plan to sail/race up to Derry for Foyle Days on Sat 12. We will race into town, then hold 2 races in the town and then race home.

Derry City Council are running ”Foyle Days”
LFYC have been asked to participate on Saturday, by racingĀ  near the Council
Offices.
We are planning to meet at Culmore Point at 11.30 and leave at 12.00.

It would be great to see a big fleet and its a good advert for the club so if you can please come on down, join in the racing or just sail along with us in the always interesting, historically rich, visually stunning trip into town by river by sail.

A nice evening, lightish, F2 E. It was Low tide but there seemed to be a current running across the bay from the oil jetty to the culmore shore – neither up or down river but across the way! Any answers?
